Coaching for leaders, professionals, and people in transition
Stop managing every answer. Start creating better thinking.
I help leaders and accomplished professionals use coaching skills to navigate change, develop others, and do their most meaningful work, moving from success toward significance.

Two ways coaching can help
Coaching skills at work
Better leadership rarely begins with a better answer. It begins with a better question. I help leaders, managers, consultants, and project professionals use coaching skills to develop others, create ownership, and navigate change without carrying every answer themselves.
Individual coaching
You may have built a career, family, or reputation that looks successful, and still hear a quieter question about what comes next. Individual coaching creates room to listen to that question and move with greater clarity, courage, peace, and purpose.
The Plan & Adapt approach
Six steps, used loosely rather than followed like a script. The point is better thinking, not a system to master.
- GroundCome back to the present moment before reacting to it.
- ListenHear the story, the pattern, the question underneath the question.
- DiscernGet clear on what actually matters here.
- DesignTurn that clarity into a real, practical next step.
- ActTake the step. Movement builds confidence better than more thinking does.
- AdaptNotice what's changing, and adjust rather than force the plan.
Experience
Bud Ratliff has spent more than two decades working across organizational strategy, project and portfolio leadership, process improvement, facilitation, adult learning, and change. He founded Solarity in 2003; the firm was later acquired by HealthTech Solutions, an HMA Company. Today, he brings that experience into coaching, helping people slow down, ask better questions, develop others, and find the next faithful step.
